Hi Hamdo,

Could you please provide a source and copyright information for Image:Aljo.jpg? -- ChrisO 17:54, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)

its from BBC

In that case, unless you have permission to use it, it's almost certainly a copyright infringement and will have to be deleted. You must have permission to use images, otherwise Wikipedia could get sued by the BBC or whoever holds the copyright. If you can't provide proof of permission, I'll have to list it on Wikipedia:Copyright problems. -- ChrisO 20:30, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)

ok, im sorry

No problem, just so that you know. :-) I've found a public-domain picture on the Dutch Wikipedia which I'll upload for you. -- ChrisO 12:44, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Thanks

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bih repka.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much, Tagishsimon (talk) 00:36, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Porca.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Porca.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:08, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Porca.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BrownCow • (how now?) 19:03, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Hamdo! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 0 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Josip Katalinski - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Vahid Halilhodžić - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Muhammed Porča requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Epeefleche (talk) 01:17, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
