[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Mondial la Marseillaise de pétanque a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. I've fixed it for you. Please don't do it again. Cabayi (talk) 18:52, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
Restored two paragraphs of the Pandeism section, without a separate header. First paragraph is enough to explain what it is so one need not click to the article itself to find that out. Second paragraph, analysis by Charles Hartshorn, is really about both, so relevant to Deism as well. Hope you agree. Hyperbolick (talk) 21:00, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
Now that I think about it, maybe the Hartshorn quote goes better somewhere else in the Deism article. Essentially criticism. By the way, great job overall cleaning up. Was needed. Hyperbolick (talk) 21:07, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- Note: Still think there should be at least a few words of summary explaining what each variation of modern Deism is. Hyperbolick (talk) 17:39, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
Based on your areas of contribution, I thought you might have some insight into what should be added to Draft:Divine intervention. Cheers! BD2412 T 19:32, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for the invitation. Today I did a substantial bit of re-writing of the article. I didn't remove anything really, but I did some serious re-arrangement. Now the whole structure of the article makes more sense, and the exposition flows more smoothly. Stephen.R.Ferg (talk) 18:29, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
